- This happened between Micah and Cory the other day:
Cory: Silence...a little dumbfounded, and unsure if that really was what Micah was asking
Micah: "Whaht tieme is iet? Whaht tieme is iet?"
Cory: "Uh..........1:30?....."
Micah: "Okay" and he runs off to play again
- I had been playing a game with the boys all day. I would say "Lets go Joe! Oh, wait, you're not Joe, you're Micah!" (Side note: When I started doing this, I suddenly had all these memories of my Dad doing the same thing with me) So, at lunch that day, this conversation happened:
Micah: "MommEE.....Dets go Doe! Oh, you not Doe, you Mity!"
- Whenever we are driving and get close to home, I say "Where are we?" and the boys say (shout) "Home!" Lately, as soon as we get close Micah will say "Noah, where are we?" and Noah will say "Home!" Well, today as we got home from church, this conversation took place:
Micah: "Mommy, where are we?"
Me: "Home"
Noah: "Yeah Mommy!" (clapping for me)
- Today, I asked the boys if they wanted to call Nanna and Grumpa (my parents) when they were all done eating. They both yelled "Yeah!" and then Micah says: "Good idea Mommy!" clear as can be.
- Cory was telling the boys stories in bed tonight (he was just making them up). He started to tell one about lost animals that someone was trying to find and started with a Hippo. Micah jumps out of bed, runs to the living room and gets a Hippo puzzle pieces. He brings it back to Cory all proud: "Found Hippo!" So Cory thanks him, forgets the rest of the story and then starts to tell a story about a Lion. Same thing happens, but this time Micah comes back with a Lion. Cory just gave up on telling the story.
I definitely laughed! It’s so fun when you can hear how they think..
