Mostly 4th of July Stuff

Wow.  Keeping up with what we are actually doing as a family is crazy enough....never mind actually trying to document it all!  But I refuse to give up b/c something is better than nothing, right?  (-:

I'm exhausted and we have lots of fun stuff planned tomorrow (last day before the boys start Kindergarten), so I'm going to need my energy.  So, I've got about an hour before I MUST put myself to bed.  So, let's see how much I can get done in an hour.....

So way back to late June...

Noah is getting very good at making his bed and he was quite proud of himself one morning, so we took a picture:

We had a lot of fun at the Lehi 4th of July parade, but it sure was HOT!  Lot of amazing floats though.  Totally worth seeing!

Then we headed up to Nanna and Grumpa's house for the weekend.  Hanna was a really great helper.  She helped in the kitchen with Mommy:

 She helped Nanna vacuum:
 She helped keep Grumpa quiet:

And she even learned how to tell everyone how old she is.  She says she is 3 (she is 2) b/c she thinks it will get her more privileges....all the "bigger people" seem to have more fun.  They can go to cousins camp, school, dance, gymnastics, soccer etc etc.  She is sure that if she can convince us she is "a lot biggah" then she will have more fun:
And if that doesn't work, she also knows just how cute she is:

We had fun making a red, white and blue dinner with Nanna.  She is always so creative and fun!

She even had red, white and blue punch!
About 15 min after this picture poor Samantha threw up.  So, she and Cory missed out of the rest of the night.

The kids did "pops" for the first time ever.
Poor Hannah threw them as hard as she could, but not one popped.  I think she was a bit confused by what the fuss was all about...
Sparklers were new to all our kids too.  Hannah couldn't quite figure them out
And was even more confused when they went out for no reason:
Micah was more interested in all the candy:
And Noah was scared stiff.  He did NOT want to try one.  I have to say, knowing how scared he was, I'm pretty proud of him for trying it.  He only did one,
and didn't move a muscle the entire time
Until Kayla told him he could move his arm, then he moved his wrist around just a bit:

The kids got some fun toys from Nanna:

Hanna liked her to blow REALLY close to her face:

nAnd then we watched the fireworks in Hyrum (which didn't start until 9:30 pm!!!):

Alright, it has been an hour....and I'm still nearly 2 months behind, but hey....it's something!  Good night!
