Yeah, well, last week, I was in the office on a phone call with the pharmacy trying to clear up some billing issues while the boys played out in the living room (or so I thought). It was a really important phone call that I have been trying to make for weeks. The girl I needed to talk to was finally in the office, but they had me on hold waiting for her. It suddenly got VERY quiet, and I just knew I should go check on the boys, but unfortunately, I wasn't smart enough to make the call on our cordless. So, against my better instinct, I waited. After being on hold for about 15 minutes total, I finally just hung up and went to see what they were up to.
I found them in their room, covered in their VERY EXPENSIVE diaper cream from head to toe...they had also spread it all over the carpet, changing table, and pack and play. When I walked in, they were just SO proud of themselves it was everything I could do not to laugh. I picked them both up, dumped them in the tub and then ran to get the camera. I only got the one picture b/c I was pretty anxious to get them cleaned up before they ruined anything else.......yeah, those are my boys!

The faces say, "I think I am so busted!" or else "What's wrong? We just did what you always do with this stuff".
ReplyDeleteI laughed and laughed- good thing I wasn't there to show them how funny that was.
That is funny. They really are growing up. Brandon says Micah looks just like Cory at that age.
ReplyDeleteI'm reminded of Jonelle's stories about how Tom got into gel or toothpaste and smeared it all over the wall/mirror in the bathroom! Oh, and there is the famous story about me as a child coloring the wall or couch with a marker! I think I was 1 or 2? I'm lucky I survived that year!!!
