She seems to be pretty determined and stubborn like her brothers though. She has decided recently that she likes to be sitting up. She gets very uphappy if she is lying down anywhere other than her crib to sleep. She won't even sit in her semi-reclined bouncer. It is the swing (and even in that she pulls herself forward to a more upright posititon) or the couch, and as soon as she topples over or slides down on the couch, she cries out.

She can roll from her belly to her back, but not the other way around. She can push herself up on with her arms while on her belly. This is all stuff the boys didn't do until 6-7 months or so, so she seems a lot older to me...She also laughed (like belly laughed) for the first time Friday. It was so fun.
She rarely gets too upset, unless she is super overtired, underfed, or has been left on her back for too long (the belly is still okay). Even then, she usually just fusses a bit for 5-10 minutes before gettting really upset.
She is super social and loves any and all attention given to her by anyone. Like I said before, it just takes a glance from anyone for her to flash her beautiful big smile. She talks/coos a ton, just super super social.
She too, likes to play with Daddy:

One last thing I love. When she eats, she HAS to hold my hand. Otherwise, she is just really squirmy. It is the sweetest thing ever. (not the best picture, sorry)

We love you Samantha!
You are so smart to write all this down while you remember it. She is changing and growing so fast. I love her smile!
ReplyDeleteI remember the hand-holding; just another plus about nursing and cuddling singletons, huh?
