LOVE

FHE a couple of weeks ago was on love. We sang "Love One Another," showed them a picture of Jesus and talked (briefly) about how much he loves us and how we should try to love others like He does.
Then we sat in a big heart made of masking tape on the ground and talked about all the people we love. The boys love for us to go through the list of family members and ask them: "Do you love ________ ?" They always answer yes with cute little smiles and giggles. So we went through the whole list: Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, everyone. You are all VERY loved!
We then made sugar cookies (no milk) into heart shapes. Although it ended up as a bit of a mess, it was so worth it b/c the boys had tons of fun. I don't think we actually made too many hearts though!

While we are on the subject, the boys also love to say "I love you, ______ ." Doesn't matter who it is, they love to say it. They have also learned to sign "I love you," well...kind of. It actually looks a lot more like "west-side," but they sure do like to do it. It's just been in the last couple of months that they will randomly come up to me, and say "I wub oo, momEEEE" with a big kiss or hug or occasionally the I love you sign. I just love it.

  1. So cute! I love that. Spencer did the same thing last week to Kristy...just walked up to her and said, "i love you, mommy". It was just the sweetest thing ever.
