Dalton Family Pictures

So, most of you have probably seen the new family pictures to the right, but since they won't end up in our book, I wanted to post them as an individual post as well.

The Dalton family (my family) has struggled with family pictures. Our last family picture was taken almost 8 years ago before I left on my mission, and that was because my Grandma had organized family pictures for her family and the photographer agreed to take some of us. Before that, I think I was 12 in next most recent family picture.

As many of you know, I love pictures. So much so that I seriously considered becoming a photographer for a while. So, needless to say, I have been nagging my parents for a while now to get a family picture taken. They finally obliged me, and we had so much fun! My mom loves all having all these fun pictures in her house, as do I.

The Photographer did an amazing job for a fabulous price and we have rights to every single image (hundreds) that he took! If you live in Utah, or are willing to travel there, I highly recommend him. Here is his website/contact information.

And, here is our showcase:

The whole family:

Just Us:

The Happy Couple:

Bloopers:

You know you're a great Dad when even your professional family photos have binkies in them...

This is what happened when the photographer said, "Be Sassy:"

....can anyone say "generation gap?"

Christa, could you stay single just a bit longer? You make a great babysitter!

Oh, the love......

We made Christa get her picture taken by herself. As you can see, she was thrilled.

We were having a hard time getting both of the boys to look at the camera at the same time, so we all stood behind the photographer and yelled. This was the reaction we got:

Noah was not content with anyone by his mom or dad during this whole trip...but isn't my sister just beautiful?!?

Behind the Scenes....

Just having fun....

  1. I love your pictures! What a good looking family! How did you get your boys to sit still? We just had pictures taken and Grant wouldn't stay in one place and Aurora wouldn't look at the camera. I am scared to see what they look like! I love your mom in the sassy pic...she is so cute!
