The Twins' Blessing

We (well, Cory) blessed Micah and Noah this last Sunday. It was such a WONDERFUL day. The blessings were beautiful...I bawled through both of them. I have cried through so many other sacrament meetings b/c moments like last Sunday were missing in my life, it was nice to cry b/c of how happy and at peace I felt. Kinda funny though, no one in our ward here knows anything about our story/infertility stuff, so they must have thought it a little odd...i mean i was BAWLING!
My Dad said Cory couldn't stop trembling during Micah's blessing but calmed down a bit for Noah's. Both blessings were wonderful....we have been blessed with amazing children. It is a little overwhelming!
Almost our entire families were able to come. We were only missing our sister Kristy and brothers Curtis and Steve. Everyone else was able to make the trip...even the spouses of those who couldn't come. It was fun to have everyone meet them and get to hold them. I loved showing them off.

These pics were actually taken a few days after when we realized we only had one pic of them in their white suits.

Sunday after church/lunch...Everyone who was able to come.

My parents...they each get a baby!

  1. Congratulation Cory and Misty what a wonderful experience. I can tell that those twins don't lack for attention!! I remember the day Megan and Emily were blessed -- very very special.

  2. Those boys are really chunking up and they certainly look different! I'm happy your family could share such a special day with you guys. Some day I'll share Anderson's blessing day with you--not such a great day :( and I'll take all the blame for that.

  4. What a wonderful day! I can't believe so many people were able to come. It must have been nice to have so many people around to attend to the twins. You guys look great and your boys are so cute!

To answer your question...No, we are not coming out for Christmas. Ty will only be about 1 week old and that's really not the time to be going on vacation. We are for sure coming for a visit in the summer though!
