Cory continues to amaze me. He got a research project back today. He got the highest grade in the class!!!!! Not only did the teacher give him and "A," but she also asked if she could use his paper as an example in years to come! He is doing SO well at school-even with all he has going on at home. I really think law school suits him...the way he thinks/expresses himself is perfect in this environment (sometimes frustrating for me, but great as a law student (-: ). I am so proud of him and appreciate all he is doing/the sacrifices he is making for our family.
So, in Cory's family, they have a tradition with a red plate. When anyone does anything noteworthy, that person gets the red plate for dinner. It encourages good conversations and helps family members stay involved in each other's lives. His sister gave us a red plate recently so that we could start the tradition in our home. Cory's accomplishments at school today were totally red plate worthy! The tradition begins!
Congratulations on the report! I think this red plate thing is an excellent idea, I'm going to try it in my home. Thanks for the idea. I found you on Play.blogger.com
ReplyDeletec-dawg-So how many of our yankees are going to follow Torre? You lucky duck. Oh, good job on your paper :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope they don't follow him. We don't want an evil empire in L.A.
